Silvia Tomova

Graduated from the State Ballet Academy "A. Я. Vaganova" in St. Petersburg, Russia (1978). Winner of the International Ballet Competitions in Varna, Osaka, Paris and Moscow. She is a prima ballerina of the National Opera with over 90 principal roles performed in classical and modern ballet titles.

She is the artistic director of the ballet companies of Sofia Opera and Ballet (2003-2007), Plovdiv Opera (2009-2010), Rousse Opera (2013-2016), and since 2016 - the ballet company of the State Opera - Stara Zagora.

Since 2005 he has been the Executive Director of the Bulgarian Ballet Association. Since 1996 he has been the chairman of the National Committee for Dance Art for Bulgaria. He teaches at the National School of Dance Art, NATFA "Krastyo Sarafov" and New Bulgarian University.

She has also choreographed numerous productions. She has participated in various television and film productions. She has worked as an assistant choreographer for Giorgio Iancu, Mario Piazza, Fredi Franzuti, Carla Fraci, choreographer for Juliet Cantalupi and Kristina Gyurova.
