Ivaylo Mihaylov

In 1997 he obtained a Bachelor's degree in classical singing at the State Music Academy "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov - Sofia in the class of Valeri Popova. In 2002 he specialized at the Boris Hristov Academy in Rome, where he studied under Giuseppe Taddei, and then continued at the Academy of Baroque Opera in Osimo (Italy) with teachers Luigi Alva and William Matteuzzi. His longest training was with Kaludi Kaludov.

He obtained a master's degree in vocal pedagogy from NBU in the class of prof. Russko Ruskov (2002), in Art Management from the Academy of Music and Dance and Fine Arts - Plovdiv under prof. Zhivka Busheva (2010) and in Music and Stage Direction from the Academy of Music and Dance and Fine Arts - Plovdiv under prof. Pavel Gerdzhikov.

He debuted as a director with the opera Bastien and Bastienne by V. А. Mozart.
Participated in the role of Ernani g. from Giuseppe Verdi's opera of the same name in the co-production of the Sofia National Opera and Ballet and Varna Opera ( 2012). She has performed in Romania, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, and Japan. In 2013/14 he was a mentor and judge in the first edition of Pop star to opera star - Vietnam and a vocal teacher in X-factor. He has recorded for BNR, BNT, VTV and RAI.

Since 2018 he has been a member of the soloist ensemble of the State Opera - Stara Zagora.
