Alexander Marulev

Graduated from the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov Academy of Music (1979). Specialized in interpretation under prof. Kim Borg - Weimar, Germany (1974). Graduated from the master classes in Sofia of prof. Iliya Yosifov (1980) and Gena Dimitrova (1988). In 1990 he specialized at the Academy of Art and Culture in Rome under Boris Hristov.

His stage debut was in the role of the Warlord in the opera The Golden Bird by Marin Goleminov (1979). Since then he has been a soloist of the State Opera - Stara Zagora.

He is a laureate of the International competitions for young opera singers - Sofia (1983), Re Manfredi (1983), St. Manfredonia, Italy (1990) and "Beniamino Gili" - Manfredonia, Italy (1990). Sirmione, Italy (1993)

She has performed solo and with the State Opera - Stara Zagora in Russia, Greece, Italy, etc.

In the period 1998-2003 he was the director of the opera and in 2010-2012 he was its chief artistic director.
