Classics are timeless!
Directed by Slavcho Nikolov
Conducted by Dimitar Kosev
Orchestra of the State Opera - Stara Zagora
Host is the actress from the Geo Milev State Theatre Svetla Dimitrova.
"These are some of the most iconic classical works in music, woven organically into the plot of the film by some of the most famous directors. We will try to make the concert in a cinematic form - while the audience listens to the works, they will also watch the film excerpts. The concert is very suitable for a young audience, to whom it will try to show that the Classics are eternal" - says Slavcho Nikolov, who is the director of the concert.
The concert program includes music from the films Platoon, Apocalypse Now, Moulin Rouge, The Shawshank Redemption, Where Are You Going, Eyes Wide Shut, The Godfather 3, Django Unchained, Mr. Bean's Vacation, The King's Speech, Sense of a Woman and others.
