Director Enrico Stinkeli with a warm address and gratitude to the director of the Stara Zagora Opera Ognyan Draganov and the entire staff on the occasion of the premiere performance of the opera Attila. In his Facebook page the renowned singer, director, music critic and popular radio presenter of the prestigious specialised programme La Barcaccia on the Italian radio RAI3/ wrote:
"Thank you to Ognian Draganov and the Stara Zagora Opera in Bulgaria for the magnificent revival of Attila, co-produced with the Cagliari Opera last October, with my direction (plus lighting and video design) and Salvatore Russo's wonderful costumes.
It was a brave and almost miraculous recovery, given that /as everywhere/ in Bulgaria the virus situation is quite serious. Despite the measures imposed and more or less justified fears, the theatre of Stara Zagora dared and won its bet.
I want to, so I CAN! Meeting now indoors, next spring. Thank you to the talented Bulgarian artists and the technical services of the theatre!"
