On 15 August, the Great Epiphany - one of the biggest Christian holidays, Stara Zagora State Opera joined the charity action of Rotary Club Stara Zagora Beroe by giving 50 tickets /open for each performance of the Stara Zagora Opera/ to the Ukrainian families sheltered in the Stara Zagora Mineral Baths. A solemn mass for health was celebrated in front of the St. Kozma Zografski Church by Father Jordan, and the special greeting of the Stara Zagora Opera was the magnificent and touching performance of the opera prima - the Ukrainian soprano Tamara Kalinkina, who sang for her compatriots the Ukrainian song "Zhuravka" accompanied by Denitsa Petrova on the piano.
A donation was handed over to the Ukrainian families staying at the Maritsa East rest station in the resort village. The Rotary Club Stara Zagora Beroe would like to express their gratitude to the donors of this project, who supported the purchase of 65 tickets for the play "Plums for Garbage" at the State Puppet Theatre, Stara Zagora, 35 packages of treats for the little ones, as well as a full freezer with a variety of ice cream.
