On January 29, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the State Opera Stara Zagora, join us for the first performance of the New Year 2025 - the premiere of the musical for children "The Wolf and the Seven Goats" by the Children's Youth Opera and Ballet Studio at the Opera. Composer is Alexander Vladigerov, director Jasmina Cholakova - head of the studio, stage design Alexander Goshev, vocal training Inna Andreeva.
The story tells about seven little goat kids who live in their forest house with their mother, the goat, in peace and love. The baby goats grow up happy and explore the world through their mother's guidance and the lessons of their teacher Slavey Gorski. From the vocal teacher they also receive their first music lessons.
The moment comes when the mother-goat has to leave for the city to go shopping. Each of her seven little children orders what their mother should bring. In turn, the caring mother orders the children to beware of the evil bad wolf. He will surely try to take advantage of her absence and get his hands on the fragile goats...
And so it goes! The wolf tries to sneak up on the goats. But they remember their mother's command and recognize his deception. The villain seeks help from an "insider" - Slavey Gorsky. The maestro's task is to teach the rude wolf the fine manners and honeyed songs of the mother-goat. After several failed attempts, the bloodthirsty criminal catches up with the little jumpers... but of course, the story ends with a happy ending!
"In the musical The Wolf and the Seven Billy Goats, children will be able to see many songs and dances that make the story very entertaining and engaging. As in every fairy tale, there is a lesson here - to trust no one but their parents and to be cautious, smart and obedient!" says the director of the show Jasmina Cholakova.
All young viewers between 4 and 12 years old, their parents, grandparents, relatives and friends are welcome!
The caring mother goat is Anastasia Altukhova, Slavey Gorsky is Stoyan Buyukliev - young and very talented soloists of the State Opera-Stara Zagora. The bad character Yuhu Buhu is Daniel Stoynov, a student in 10th grade at NUMSI "Christina Morfova". And the Wolf?!!!!! Oh, he is super attractive and is an actor at the Drama Theatre "Geo Milev" - Borislav Vezhenov - he has already performed in the State Opera-Stara Zagora performances! And once again he is unique in his role!
