The friendly reviews from Deutsche Oper-Berlin for the premiere performance of "The African Girl" in Sofia were not delayed!
The situation with COVID-19 brought all the theatres in Germany to their knees. The performances are held in minimized concert forms, without chorus. The management of the Deutsche Oper is worried about the future of the art. At the same time, Vera Nemirova's production of The African Girl continued its stage life thanks to the Stara Zagora Opera. On 6 October the performance was presented in its full glory and with great success on one of the biggest stages in Bulgaria - Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture. Vera Nemirova was unable to come to Bulgaria because of the complicated COVID situation, but she is in constant contact with the team of her Afrikaanka, she is excited, she is happy, she is experiencing. She shares the first reactions during and after the presentation of "Afrikaanka" in Sofia with the management of the partner Deutsche Oper-Berlin, who take the success of the show as their success! Congratulations are offered by the theatre's dramaturg Jörg Königsdorff! Watch the video:
