The brilliant premiere of the ballet "Copelia" on November 29 /Friday/ did not end only with the explosive cheers of the ecstatic audience! Maestra Sylvia Tomova announced wonderful news for the ballet company after the performance. The stars of the Stara Zagora Opera Ballet - Tomoki Ishigo and Fiordi Loha - the new premier soloists with Bulgarian passports! And more! The happy news - the ballet family Haruka Suga and Tomoki Ishigo have their first child, an adorable little lady named Miori - the news came on the day of the premiere! A double celebration for the young dad - congratulations were offered from the stage by Sylvia Tomova! The talented Haruka Suga, Tomoki Ishigo from Japan and Fiordi Loha from Albania are among the first ballet dancers who joined the ballet company of Stara Zagora Opera in the 2016/17 season and under the dedicated and uncompromising guidance of their maestra Tomova grew up in front of the eyes of the audience in love with ballet - already with many leading roles and personal achievements at home and abroad! With Stara Zagora and Bulgaria in their hearts! In the souvenir photos after the performance, the beautiful ballerinas were photographed with their pre-Christmas gift from the Stara Zagora Municipal Council - ballet thumbs, beautifully wrapped! In the hall of the premiere were 28 little graces from the Ballet School "Feeria", spectators from Veliko Tarnovo, from all over South Bulgaria! Those who chose Saturday for the second performance of "Copelia" were also totally enchanted! Tomoki Ishigo and Akari Morimatsu debuted in the two main roles. Tomoki has long been a favorite of the audience here, who lavishly reward him with standing ovations. He is so artistic and so acrobatic that the energy he radiates on stage could provide electricity for the entire building! An absolute charmer! The exquisite ballerina Akari Morimatsu was an enchanting Swanilda! And Kalin Lyubenov! It was as if the role of Doctor Copelius had been invented for him! Unique! The ballet "Coppelia" is an absolute achievement for the State Opera-Stara Zagora, and the Prima Anelia Dimitrova is in top form and again, no, she is NOT dancing - she is the Heroine herself on stage, absolutely merging with the character, earthy, warm and human subtlety, unearthly grace!
