A discussion organized by the Standard newspaper in cooperation with the Stara Zagora Municipality under the title "Together against the crisis" was held yesterday at the Stara Zagora Municipality. The Minister of Economy Emil Karanikolov and the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Emil Hristov took part in the discussion.
The discussion ended with the awarding of the Stara Zagora citizens who have contributed the most to the fight against the coronavirus. Among them were the ophthalmologist Dr. Dimitar Djelebov, the companies "Ajax", "Armira", "Alliance - DN" and "El Control", the oil company "Zara", the teams of the municipality of Stara Zagora, who were at the disposal of the elderly, lonely and hardly mobile people throughout the state of emergency, the bakery "Petraki", the company "Visteon Bulgaria", the NGO "Brother for Brother".
For a shared magic of art in an emergency. Strengtheners of spirit and meaning, creators and lovers were awarded Stara Zagora State Opera, State Puppet Theatre, Geo Milev Drama Theatre, Regional History Museum Stara Zagora and Geo Milev House Museum.
The discussion was also attended by Stamen Yanev - Executive Director of the Bulgarian Investment Agency, Boyko Takov - Executive Director of IANMSP, the Regional Governor Gergana Mikova, MPs, municipal councillors and business representatives.
