"The Nutcracker" again on 24 April

P. И. Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker is the latest title in the poster of the Stara Zagora Opera Ballet. The fairytale story of E.T.A. Hoffmann will come to life again in its full glory on 24 April at 7 pm on the stage of the Stara Zagora State Opera. The production of "The Nutcracker" is based on the original choreography and directed by the Merited Artist of the Russian Federation Konstantin Uralsky. Assistant choreographer Natalia Korobeynikova.

"My work with the troupe of the State Opera-Stara Zagora Ballet is very interesting, the girls and boys are very active and the performance will be very bright. For me the ballet "The Nutcracker" is a girl's farewell to childhood. It is more than a fairy tale. It is the fairy tale of our life, of our childhood. And whether it was real or invented by Drosselmeyer or dreamt up by Maria, that is the question that every spectator in the hall must come away with. The answer will be sought by every spectator," says Konstantin Uralsky, the choreographer of the production.

The sets and costumes of The Nutcracker are by Italian artist Salvatore Russo. In the new production - designed in a traditional classical style, participates the entire multinational ballet company of the Stara Zagora Opera, which, under the direction of prima ballerina and teacher Sylvia Tomova, respects for its excellence and aspiring rise. The well-known fairy tale of "The Nutcracker" will be told for the first time on the stage of Stara Zagora State Opera in the first days of spring. The young and unconditionally talented artists of the ballet troupe of the Stara Zagora Opera will use the language of dance to recreate the magical story unfolding in Marie's dream the night before Christmas. The heroine, together with her wooden Nutcracker doll, is about to defeat the Rat King and embark on a journey into fairy-tale worlds.

The exquisite ballerina Nanako Imai will dance as Marie on April 24. The Nutcracker-Prince is Tomoki Ishigo, Drosselmeyer - Ivaylo Yanev, Fairy Drage - Anelia Dimitrova, King Mouse - Francesco Boriello, Prince Coklus - Pasquale Casiella and others.

"The Nutcracker" is performed not only at Christmas. It appears in everyone's life always at the right time and in the right place. Because the human heart always needs a beautiful tale to bring its faith in the Good - back to the heart.
