On 9 July at 9 pm in the courtyard of the Architect's House you will enjoy the sumptuous multimedia concert "Jazospection" - created by the idea, script and direction of Slavcho Nikolov in tandem with the conductor Dimitar Kosev. The talented artists will once again present the music of Claude Bolling in an original combination with multimedia projections based on footage and themes from the film "Baraka".
Claude Bolling's jazz suite will be performed by Iva Profirova - flute, Dimitar Kossev - bass, Manuela Manolova - piano and Atanas Georgiev - drums. Multimedia - Plamen Asenov.
"Jazzspection" is an attempt to unite the views on life of three generations of artists. A concert seeking proof that time and age do not matter when you find the right theme , combined with the right music and personnel. The theme the concert explores is global and extremely poignant. Planet Earth is wonderful, religions teach us good, but human greed makes the world what it is today, and it is up to us to decide what it will be!
The harmony that is created between the music by Claude Bolling and the footage shot by Ron Frick, blends magnificently and complements the overall image of the concert. The selection of footage from the film "Baraka", corresponds with the music of the "Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio".
