After the furore it caused during the Christmas-New Year holidays last year among children and adults, the performance of the ballet "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" to music by Alexander Yossifov and choreography by Silvia Tomova will be presented again on the stage of the State Opera - Stara Zagora on December 20 and 21 at 7 pm.

The Stara Zagora State Opera Ballet, together with the Children's and Youth Opera and Ballet School "Daisies" at the Opera House, will present a fabulous gift for children on the eve of Christmas 2018 and will immerse us in the magic and beauty of Christmas magic.

The fairytale costumes, based on the concept of Walt Disney, are the work of Parvoleta Chavdarova - Letizia, and the set design is by Ivan Tokadzhiev. The beautiful costumes are made to contribute to the good mood of artists and audience, and the graceful and sensual ballet art in addition, fully reveal their beauty to the audience. Colourful paintings combined with a variety of dance techniques and with a lot of fun tell the fairy tale beloved by young and old. Choreographer Sylvia Tomova makes masterly use of stylish theatrical and dance techniques - she adds a unique sensuality and lyricism typical of her choreographic style and enhances the contrast in the depiction of the colourful fairy tale characters with a dose of humour and irony bordering on the grotesque.
