Ultramodern dance performance with premiere on 18 September on the stage of the State Opera Stara Zagora

On 18 September at 19.00 on the stage of the Stara Zagora Opera will take place the long-awaited premiere of the dance performance "Timeless" - an ultramodern and provocative performance by the choreographers Svetoslav Genadiev and Violeta Vitanova with the participation of the ballet troupe of the Stara Zagora Opera. Assistant-concept Stanislava Simeonova, original music ROBOKNOB, producer "CREATIVE BOX".
Lights flicker in the darkness, moving, pulsating and drawing abstract figures. Evocative music, resembling the sounds of nature, sounds a poetic picture with cosmic projections. There is a sense of timelessness - the kind that overwhelms us when we look at the star-studded sky on a clear summer night. The star pictures keep rearranging themselves with smooth and measured movements, as in the mysterious theatre of shadows...
Thus begins the new premiere performance of the State Opera-Stara Zagora. "Timeless" by the young but already established names in the world of dance - Stanislav Genadiev and Violeta Vitanova. Both graduated in classical ballet at the National School of Dance Art - Sofia. And as they share - they were lucky with their exceptional teachers. Stanislav graduated with Ilian Drangadzhov, and Violeta is a student of Silvia Tomova. Along with their dedicated classical ballet classes, they both received their most invaluable life lessons - to be individuals and human beings first and foremost. And now that they have many highly acclaimed projects, awards and accolades behind them, they feel that it is this foundation that their teachers have given them that has been their greatest success. They both have the gift of "looking" into people, finding the shortest path to the artist's soul and getting him to open his senses first and foremost when he steps into his new task. This is what they provoke in their new meeting with the ballet dancers of the Stara Zagora Opera. The talented choreographers look for their inspiration in the dialogue and in the process bring their fantasies to life with the help of the entire creative team. They do not miss the role of everyone - from the masters in the studios, the technical teams to the assistant director and the artists on stage. Timelessness is the theme that ignites their creative imagination, which they choose and outline the main points of the conceptual project with the help of Stanislava Simeonova. The music is ROBOKNOB - electronic music created on the spur of the moment using sound sources, drum machines and synthesizers. The music is specially prepared for the performance and it undergoes its transformations after meeting the artists. Over the course of a week, composer Yassen Georgiev works on the spot and makes the changes according to the creative overlay with the participation of the dancers. For most of the ballet dancers, the new choreographic tasks are unusual, seemingly strange, but they trust the choreographers and willingly become collaborators. The complex plastic movements are gradually mastered and the moment comes when everyone is subject to the creative timelessness that can last forever without deadlines and limitations.
Stanislav Genadiev and Violeta Vitanova have been working in tandem for many years. They have known each other since their teenage years and have managed to create their own harmonious world. They complement each other and create together. Seekers, brave experimenters, open to new and new challenges. They are happy to be able to realize their new and special project on the stage of State Opera Stara Zagora. They are fascinated by the ballet company of the theatre. They are grateful that the director of the Stara Zagora Opera Ognyan Draganov gives them this opportunity and expect that this stage will be a place for many more young and talented artists to perform. The director of the Opera Ognyan Draganov has no hesitation. He has already worked as a director with the two of them in the Rousse Opera production of Gluck's Orfeo e Eurydice and trusts fully their talent and unique artistic style. Ognyan Draganov believes that everyone should experience the freedom and timelessness of modern dance. To the messages that such an attractive and impressive project carries. Because dance has confidently jumped into the new millennium with its achievements. Much more than opera. Dance has found its way to its youngest audience - music, modern dance techniques are much closer to modern man and his world-feelings. And for classical ballet artists, such an encounter with the different and much freer expression of the body contributes to their growth and development. To be truly up-to-date!
Choreographers for the dance performance "Timelessness"
".....The idea is about rebellion against perfection - creativity is born out of chaos. Timelessness is what is before rebellion - perfection. Timelessness is rebellion itself - a repetitive act of destruction from which creativity is to be born. Timelessness is creativity itself - the creativity of transmitted energy, with constant gradation from the point of view of the creator and degradation from the point of view of the monolithic whole. Gradually the energy passes into organic life and the matrix of evolution is set in motion."
