On July 13 at 9 p.m. come to a great concert! It's called CINEMA-CLASSIC SOUNDTRACKS and is specially prepared for fans of film music, which over the years has also taken shape as an independent genre. "The concert is inspired by the most brilliant film strips, in which classical musical works are set as dramaturgy, not as background. These are some of the most iconic classical works in music, woven organically into the narrative of films by some of the most celebrated directors. We'll try to keep the concert in its original film form - while the audience listens to the works, they'll also watch excerpts from the films. The concert is very suitable for different age audiences" - says Slavcho Nikolov, the director of the concert. The conductor is the young and very talented Dimitar Kosev. The orchestra of the State Opera-Stara Zagora with concertmaster Paulina Zaharieva takes part. The concert program will feature music from the films Platoon, Apocalypse Now, Moulin Rouge, The Shawshank Redemption, Where Are You Going, Eyes Wide Shut, The Godfather 3, Django Unchained, Mr. Bean's Vacation, The King's Speech, The Sense of a Woman, etc.

The host of the concert is the actress from "Geo Milev" Theatre - Stara Zagora Svetla Dimitrov, who you will also see in the footage, but also live on stage.
